Fresno Citizens for Good Government has launched a public education campaign through December to educate voters about the critical issues that will need the attention of potential candidates for elected office.
The campaign will run during the time candidates can file papers to declare their candidacy. The City of Fresno municipal seats that will be open for election are City of Fresno Mayor and councilmember seats for Districts 2, 4 and 6.

The campaign urges voters to ask the right questions, learn about the candidates, and vote for the right candidate for the job. The campaign theme is CHOOSE FRESNO, rather than get whatever comes by default.
Fresno Citizens for Good Government has devised questions which it believes should be asked of the candidates. The questions deal with priorities, collaboration, fiscal responsibility and government efficiency, and values, competence and thoughtfulness.
